Isn’t it actually because you used to shock old Catholic ladies in Ireland by telling them you wanted to be a culture slut?
Ummm yes, but I got the phrase culture sluts from the Manics. And I didn’t mean to shock those ladies, I just forgot that the people I was talking to were old, Catholic, and Irish, and the words just came out of my mouth. There was also the time when I told some lady that I wanted to be a prostitute, fully tongue ‘n cheek, but she didn’t get it. oh well…
